My daughter mistakenly did the update and now everything including multiman is gone...
is there anyway that I can jailbreak it again?
That happened last week when I was out of town.

If your PS3 is an old one, you can downgrade to 3.55. Search the forum.
Was it via internet or via game disk your PS3 got updated
For CFW users it is VERY WISE to NOT have their internet on their ps3
Now did she update, and now it is on a later firmware? If so, then you will need a hardware flasher ie: ProgSkeet. E3 Flasher. And a device to enter service mode ie: Teensy++. PS3Break. Etc. Etc.
If the only thing that got updated was everything was erased, like a hard drive format, and you are still on the same firmware... then you might be able to re-install CFW.

OK, this is driving me nuts.
I was keep trying to look up and dig the internet but no help so far.
All I found was there was PUP 5MB in a size and that tells me that I can downgrade the firmware to 3.55 or up.
Currently the PS3 showing 4.22
Where do I download the PUP files to downgrade?
I tried the kemew PUP file, it goes all the way to 100% then say data corrupted.
Where do I get the old PUP files to upgrade? can you please give me a link or something that can help?
I really don't want to modify the hardware.
thanks once again.
I did the restore and that brings me back to 4.20
is there any way to go back to 3.55 without any hardware modifications?
Unfortunately no, only hardware can help you.
You can have a trusted user do the downgrade for you, the you won't have to buy a flasher or worry with the downgrade process. I saw someone on here that is a trusted user, noobzilla. Sounds like he charges $50 to do it. But contact him if you are interested. I have a flasher too, but I have only downgraded like 4 units, so I am the new kid on the block, and don't want to take work from the people who have earned their good name.
Is there anyway to block these accidents from hapPening, besides keeping the wifi off??
