Jailbroken PS3 Trophies

Is it possible? I've got both a fat and slim ps3 since the fat version's blu-ray drive works intermittently.. it works perfect for playing backups of my games.

Is it possible to get the trophies I unlock for my games on the jailbroken fat version if I just somehow sign in with my slim (updated version, non-JB'd) and click on "Sync with server"?

Or is it simply not possible? At the moment I was able to set all the details with my psn account but not able to log in... even though I get updates for games.

First of all, for that to happen, you would need to login to PSN with your Jailbroken PS3 which is not possible.

You can't sync your Ps3 to something the server itself doesn't know you have.

I would assume a pain in the ass way is to do as follows:
- obtain trophies on 3.41 ps3
- transfer everything to other online ps3 (complete xfer to new console)
- sync to online
- transfer back if required

Anyone tried something similar via 2 different consoles?

Yeah, I'd say thats the only way to do it. one would have to wonder what happens though when you re-backup. Does FW come with it?? I only did the transfer one time and never paid attention to that.

If you use the transfer utility then everything will be copied to the new machine, so in other words if there is some kind of logfile that will show Sony that you used backups they will be included.

So there is now way unless you harvest alot of trophies and then update and go online to sync, then get the machine banned... One shot !

Make sure its 3.41 to 3.42
3.42 to 3.41 DOES NOT WORK I HAVE TESTED I ASK FOR AN UPDATE

Trophies do not get transferred when using the backup utility.

as Dexter said, the only way (as of right now) is to sync with psn on the machine you earned the trophies with.

Just save them up until a solution presents itself, or get another system for online.

Trophies are crap anyway and no one really cares about them as they total up to nothing really. Im no fanboy but i think only xbox achievements are worth syncing.

wait how are you getting updates for games? can you explain? My updates will always start but then they fail
