Jailbroken ps3 and copied ps2 games

Hi,

I've tried using the search, but can't find anything about if it's possible to play copied ps2 games on a jailbroken ps3.
I have a few retail and backup ps2 games from years long gone and was thinking of getting a ps3 if I could use the backups on it?

Any help would be good

Yes, you can. You have 3 options:

1) swap magic
2) buy a cobra usb dongle
3) wait until october first when jfw will be released, which will have native support for it.

What ahou said. Swap Magic doesn't work very well however, since it goes at USB 1.1 speeds, unless you solder a switch inside your ps3 that ejects the disk without the ps3 noticing.
Make sure you get a backwards compatible ps3 though (you can find them used on ebay).
