Jailbreaking questions

I never really kept up with the jailbreaking ps3 scene so I'm wondering if I could jailbreak my ps3 and not get banned. My friend has tales of grace f and I played it a bit and got annoyed by voice actors and the content that isn't in the US version. I played Tales of the Abyss on my ps2 and was able to patch with jap voices and I enjoyed it. So I was hoping if I bought the jap version of Tales of graces f and jailbroke my ps3 I would be to apply the english patch and be able to get the dlc's for the game since they are not in the US psn store. I already have a jap psn store so I can get the DLCs, and I'm pretty sure I can find a tutorial on how to jailbreak so I just need to know if there is a safe way to remove jailbreak later on so I can play Borderlands 2 online when it comes out I just want to jailbreak for now so I can play with and english patch for now. I currently have the most recent Firmware on my ps3 so I hope that doesn't hinder my jailbreaking. I'm pretty sure that covers all my questions for now so thanks in advance.

there is a undub project for it in the works right now. from what i understand though, it isn't finished. yet, it doesn't matter you updating firmware passed 3.55 pretty much killed your chances of jbin your ps3.

Hmm that stinks... oh well I guess the only way is the hardware mods like e3 flasher huh... oh well. I guess i will have to deal with the lack of content and voice actors. thanks anyways.
