Tomorrow I will get my PS3KEY. I have a 60GB PHAT PS3. I just bought a 750GB drives to Rip all my games to the internal drive. My question is do I downgrade my PS3 with 60GB installed or do I installthe 750gb format it then downgrade to 3.41? I want to maintain access to my trophies on my 60GB drive.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Either way, your trophies are gone. You'll have to reinstall the firmware when you install the new HDD. You can't currently sync your trophies, because you're not on firmware 3.55 (I'm assuming if you want to jailbreak). So, any way you look at it, expect to have to start over (unless you're already on 3.41, then in that case, you should be able to jailbreak w/ the 60gb in, install a FTP server, and backup your profiles folders. Hell, back up your whole PS3 just to be on the safe side).
