Jailbreaking A Non-Updated PS3

As i said before, I did read the stickies, I was just classifying restoring and downgrading in two different categories, but now seeing as restoring does not restore the original firmware, all my questions are solved. Also, I said you can't downgrade from 3.56+, a simple misunderstanding in the process of restoring.

xPreatorianx, this is a forum where people communicate and help one another, not flame and slang words like an idiot. I knew that you can't jailbreak 3.56+, what I was asking is if you can restore your Playstation to achieve it's original firmware version, not downgrade directly from 3.56+ to a lower version, as I plainly stated. Which version supports backup games? I'm pretty sure Geohot's doesn't, and I just read something about the playback of LA Noire through Kmeaw's version so I'm guessing that one does, correct?

Alright, so this is my final reply to the thread, and I'm hoping xPreatorianx's is the final reply which should end this thread, if not, everyone is very welcome to reply, seeing as I cannot stop you. master737373, you can stop posting on this thread seeing as you're not even replying to any topic anymore, or not, it's up to you. The report option is up to me though, just saying :) No hard feelings?
Okay, to start, I don't need to post "detailed documentation and troubleshooting methods" for an opinionated "highly sought after feature", which I must admit sounds like a very astounding contribution, to show that I have contributed. For now, as I have just entered the forum as a member, I am simply speculating and starting from scratch, gathering information where I can, asking simple questions, which may be noob questions, hoping for simple answers. As expected, I knew there was going to be people such as xPreatorianx and master737373 who where tired of ridiculously amateur questions and wanted to show so on a complete amateur. I completely understand your reasoning, but wouldn't it be factually simpler to just skip my thread, instead of doing what I refer to as "flaming"? I would like to take this time to thank you, xPreatorianx, for pointing me to the stickies in which I had previously read, because I do appreciate that kindness. What I don't appreciate is the lack of decency to treat every member of the forum as if they were one of your friends or family, because that is what I believe a forum is, or should be, a friendship between people with similar interests looking to contribute. The final question I have for you, xPreatorianx, is, if none of my previous 4 posts have "any substance", then how do you have means in which to reply? Every single alphanumerical entry in every single post is "substance" on this forum. If the intentions of your statement was to declare that none of my previous posts make contribution to this forum, well they do, because other people will read them and gather information, which is the point of a forum. protip: none of us are your friend. No one here owes you anything. You should not expect anything from these forums. If you get something useful, then consider yourself lucky, and go ahead and assume it was a one time thing. People come here for a few reasons. 1) news. 2) useful stuff 3) entertainment and 4) to inflate their egos. No one comes here to sit around and answer questions that are very clearly answered in a sticky. No one is interested in answering your questions, except as part of reasons 3 and/or 4.

That applies to all forums whose members are not being paid, by the way.

A contribution is in the form of a guide, troubleshooting support, an application, yadda yadda yadda. You were calling people leechers. So I asked what have you contributed? You can't call people leechers when you yourself are considered a leecher as well m8. That's called being a hypocrite.

Anyways no worries, but seriously make sure you search next time, oh and if you make comments like leecher and stuff, I'm gonna do exactly what I did here. (I'm a no holds bar sorta guy, doesn't mean I dislike you.) (even though I'm not exactly here to make friends LMAO.)
