Hey everyone,
I am new to ps3 jailbreaking, and I am used to jtags and rgh'ed xbox's...
I have 2 downgraded ps3's
one slim 2501b
one fat model
They have been downgraded to 3.55 true blue
Will I not be able to play blu-ray movies since I downgraded it? Does the ps3 stop reading blu-ray movies after downgrade?
Also, the person who downgraded it for me warned me of something known as QA Flagging... What is that?
I plan on using my jailbroken ps3 with true blue to play games and Blu-ray movies off hard drive, along with using DLC and other people's save games... Can i do this without getting involved with QA flagging because he said it can brick my console?
In short, does downgrading a ps3 and jailbreaking it make it lose blu-ray movie compatability?
Do I need an official ps3 game in the disk drive when playing from a backup on a hdd, even if it is a different game? (I am using True Blue)
If I just stick my true blue in my ps3 then turn it on, will I be able to play games and blu-ray movies from hdd, and use DLC+save games off the hard drive easily? How would I get save games and DLC from the internet to work on my jailbroken ps3?
Thanks in advance!

"Losing BluRay PlayBack"
-It mostly happens.
"DLC's and PSN Games"
-You must look forward for ReActPSN Program and activate files (.riff / .edat)...
There is whole threads about ReAct PSN...
"Original PS3 Game"
Just look up for 'PS3 Game Compatibility List'
Because some of the games working with different ways.
For example, most of the games are working without BD disc but some of the games works with only BD disc.
Also games like MW2, GTA4 or Dragon Age (I think DA2) working with only on external Hdd.
Just like this some of them works only internal Hdd.
So basicly, if you need no trouble, you must have a 1 original game (doesn't matter what game is) and external hdd.
"Game Saves"
This is a different story.
You must sign the save file to your account.
Other ways it wont work.
You can find instructions on the net...

So, if I kept a game in my blu-ray drive, it would work fine, all games? What about games on update 3.72 or something, would i need a TB eboot fix?

Yes, just like I do, keep your game on the drive and click on it.
If you can find fixed eboot for the right version, you can update your game.
If not, It won't work.

You can play the games ONLY with the patched TB eboot games. NOT all games can be updated. Only a few can be updated. Check the TB games compatibility thread.
