Jailbreak Question

Ok... so right now i've got a PS3 that I jailbroke with a TI-84 plus calculator on a firmware before v3.42. I downloaded the backup manager and backed up several games on the PS3 hard drive. Later that night my brother stupidly updated the firmware to v3.42.

Now i've got a PS3 with the backup manager icon, but I can't boot it due to an error. Is there any hope for me?

not at this present moment in time. the exploit does not work on firmware > 3.41

and give your brother a good telling off
