jailbreak extra software

hey guys,iv just become a new member and dis is my first post so here goes,iv just downloaded jailbreak PUP file for 3.72,i know how to install it but im just wondering ,i seen on a vid on utube dat i need to install file manager and some other stuff to be able to use the jailbreak,so wer do i start off after i install the update,i havent updated yet until i really have an idea wer to go afterwards,thanks a million upfront,miltownman

no jailbreak pups for 3.72 are confirmed working if you got the KADO 3.72 pup (from indonesia) it wont work your system will hang you need the dongle which requires a trip to said country. Also this other guy supposedly is making a 3.72 CFW from ps3news but its not confirmed yet either.

ok well dats alil disappointing to hear,can anybody recommend a software,i have updated to original 3.72 so im thinkn i mite need to downgrade,to think i wasted 20 quid fone credit to unlock the software,,,is dder any beginers tutorials to jailbreakin

You can't downgrade from anything above 3.56 without significant soldering skills and a knowledge of the inner workings of your PS3.

so is it next to impossible for me to jailbreak my ps any which way,is der ne thging dat can be done in my situation,

Pretty much.....at the moment.......there are places I think that offer the downgrade service, no idea how reliable, how expensive, etc etc....

I'm sure when the manufacturers get some kind of solderless solution out there, and it's tried and tested, there will be some easier-to-follow guides that get released.

Yes, ideally 3.41, that will give you most options.
