jailbreak & blu ray movie region code

This question might have been asked before but I couldn't find it

I know PS3 games are region but not blu ray movie

I was wondering can jail break change the region lock of the console. That is region 1 PS3 playing region 3 blu ray disc

Not yet. -- Jailbreaking does not allow to change the region. -- All tho downgrading might, if we can ever figure why some machines get destoried! - No movie playback at all.
