Jailbreak 4.0

Ok , i don't know if i screwed my self or not lol
sorry if this is a repetitive question but i have been trying to research this for a wile now.
From what im reading the version i need for jailbreak is 3.5, I have 4.0.
So am i able to downgrade? Or can i actually jailbreak at 4.0 and if so can someone find me a tut on how i can do that i have been trying to find something and no luck. If i can downgrade how would i do that as well. Thanks guys.

You can only JB PS3s with firmware>3.55 and if you have firmware 4.0 you need a flasher like progskeet or E3 flasher
to downgrade with a flasher you gotta know how to solder a flasher to your ps3 board
This will break the warranty void btw

So what i have read on that is that it works and there testing and then they may release a update after it has been full tested but no date has been said.

I've seen youtube videos of people running a jailbroken 4.00 PS3, but I haven't tried any links yet. I'm going to wait until I hear something on this forum. If someone wants to try any of them, please report here and let us know of any working jailbreaks.

alot of those are links that require password for the download and most likely those are virus or spyware or something of that nature. best bet is to keep an eye on these forums

to add in order to get the passwords you would more than likely have to take surveys and possibly sign up for certain sites
