this guy posted several videos of a jailbreak in the fw 3.42. real or fake?i've been checking the coments and it seems that all people that have comented joined youtube in the 4th of september. sony trying to trick us or real jb?

Hang on, the guy says "with the system 3.41 firmware" on the video...It's not 3.42 according to him...

the guy have thons of videos of the 3.42 jailbreak. the download links he posted take us to a survey.

i don't think this will work
i don't know much this so i might be wrong, but when you connect to the internet with your PS3 it searches for latest packages not just FW text. So you change the text to 3.42 and connect you might still need to update cause you'll need latest update since Sony made it in the update 3.41 for updates to be faster because they are no longer downloading the whole FW again but just the missing parts your FW need.

That is easily faked. There's a script going around to get your video an extra 500 comments, 500 views, 500 subs, all within a matter of minutes. It would be hilarious if the video was from Sony. You know what! They could make one of these videos, make it seem all real..i'm sure some people would fall for it <_<

that video was uploaded in youtube when the ps3break clone jailbrake was released by some chinese guys we still dont know if that ps3berak is real or not but for 1 im 100% sure that ps3break wont work on 3.42.and those messages that they have are just bots that spam w/e the uploader wants.

well, the way i look at it, if or when ps jailbreak is working on 3.42, it will be front page news on psx scene! until then, for me, any news should be treated with scepticism!
