    Hi,
i have been running a usb jailbreak, and although not 100% reliable was able to access hard drive games most of the time.
Today jailbreak my ps3 as usual goto back up manager and get a 80029519 error.
searched google and these forums but no joy.
thought i would try uninstalling backupmanager and try re-install. but upon re-install i cannot see "Install Package Files", thought the usb may be faulty so tried another usb (yes i'm prepared) still nothing.
    external harddrive seems in tact
i have just added some extra files to it, is there anything i could have added that would make external hard-drive unreadable?
i am missing something really obvious?
any ideas or help greatly appreciated

If the "*Install Packages" Folder is not there, then you are not in Jailbreak mode. And, if you try to run your backup manager without being in JB Mode, you will get an error. Also, and USB drives or devices you use need to be FAT32 Format.
