It was a scam. They asked for my address and I've been waiting on mine too. I've sent several emails to their customer support and they've all been ignored even though their website says 24 hour response time. The sad thing is I'd probably buy one to eliminate some of the farming/sandboxing that you have to do in some games just to progress the story but with the run around that they've given me they will never see a dime. The only thing I could suggest you do is to go ahead and write the review that they requested. I get the feeling it wouldn't be good for them

you do know failoverflow was the ones who made EVERYTHING possible not geohot right? also have you heard of kakarrotos? you know he was the one to reverse engineer the PSJailbreak 6 months before geohot ever cam along.Sony: The PS3 Scene is dead

no, we're talking about the promotion ps3usercheat did i think almost 3 months back. They were giving away their usercheat device to members of the "scene" in exchange for writing a review of their product and promoting it. I can't speak for anyone else, but they sent me an email asking where to send one a couple months ago, and I haven't received one. I've also tried to contact them several (11) times for a status update and have been ignored. I wouldn't mind paying for one - but this whole thing made them seem shady and I wouldn't give them my credit card info
@Cyris - you do realize that what you quoted was just part of his signature/tag line and had nothing at all to do with what we were talking about right?
Why would they lie though? everybody agreed to only do a review after receiving it. they gain nothing but not sending a free product.
I don't know that they lied - it could be poor promotion planning or a faulty automated response system. It would help if they responded to my emails. Maybe you could try to see what's going on. Either way I'm not happy with it
