But no online is getting to be boring no matter what I play. Recently I bought a 360 SLIM for 100$ from my local flee-market with a 20gig HDD. I heard that the xbox scene has already reached the point of being FUD from microsoft so long as you aren't stupid. So, i'm going to mod my 360, update my PS3, and say good bye to you guys. Also, does anybody know any sites for the xbox scene?

I know xbox-scene dot com

but I don't know any others.

xboxscene is the equivalent site. If you get an xbox made before i think its march 2009 you can jtag it meaning like a jailbroken ps3 (homebrew, full access to hard drive, games on hard drive) if after that date you can only change the dvd firmware to read burned games on dual layer discs.

Wait, is this taking iXtreme Slim LT+ Firmware into account?

because the xbox I purchased was a new one with kinect.

you can only use burned copies... you cant access to any homebrew.. i had to try 5 white 360s before i found a compatible one yo have to look for:

1. Manufactured date: before july 2009 meaning all 360 without hdmi and some with it. no slim models.
Xenon - Non-HDMI
Zephyr - HDMI
Opus - Non-HDMI
Falcon - HDMI
Jasper - HDMI

between march 2009 and july some consoles have the patched CB and cant be jtagged.

2. dashboard kernel 7371 or lower. look for it in system info

3. then you can dump your NAND.. its easier than it looks, just build a jtag cable with LTP and dump it.. there ara a lot of guides out there...

4. once you dump your NAND you look for your CB values... very important for close to july09 consoles with 7371

Exploitable CB versions:
1888, 1902, 1903, 1920,1921: exploitable xenon
4558: exploitable Zephyr
5761, 5766, 5770: exploitable falcon
6712, 6723: exploitable jasper

Non-Exploitable CB Versions (CD = 8453 for all of them)
Xenon: 1922, 1923, 1940
Zephyr: 4571, 4572, 4578, 4579
Falcon/Opus: 5771
Jasper: 6750

5. if you found one congrats! you just got a backup of your NAND.. rewrite it with the explot and verything is open now.. from CFW to free LIVE games, DLC.. etc

Jesus christ, I never realized that modding a 360 had to be so specific. Oh well, might as well enjoy the 360 exclusives and than update my PS3 and downgrade when I feel like it. I'm just glad I didn't update right off the bat.

because I don't have any money for live in my budget since I just bought a 360 but good idea I might do that.
