So after reading that article in a couple of months i will be getting rid of my dongle.

Thanks overfl0w. Just makes you think what wonderous homebrew applications will amerge when you no longer need the dongle to jailbreak.

Also makes you think what sony is going to do as well, considering it will be possible to jump on psn and play your little heart out.

Even though it's already possible for a jailbroken ps3 to go online and play on the playstation network.

What are your thoughts on all of this?

I don't think they will do anything legal against "fail0verflow team",
but they will prolly offer them a big cheque if that isn't done already lol.

The way i see it, i think Sony will try to fix things even knowing that they can't do shit, because at the end
it's their system that compromised itself someway ^_^ so that's why they failed already...

PS4 is what they already busy on in sony i guess...
first ps4 is coming up in late 2011 in Asia or so.

Typical i just buy a ps3 (At the right time i must ad since jailbreak is around and custom firmware) now they are releasing a ps4.

Hrmm might wait till they exploit that one untill i upgrade to a ps4.

Lol having to much fun with my internal hd choco block full of games (Thank god for 1terabyte drives) haha.

Well at the CCC they said most devices are hacked to support linux, not piracy which is the result of every hack anyway. The ps3 supported linux. there fore no reason to hack it. The second linux support went away they started hacking it. once they started hacking it, it took about the same time to hack as the xbox 360.
