iPhone or board?

I have PSFreedom on my iPhone and everything works great. However, should I buy a board, too? Because I don't know if PSFreedom will be upgraded if PSGroove is upgraded. Is just keeping my iPhone good enough? Should I just wait until a cfw comes out?

I doubt if there's anything to upgrade to, it's very unlikely the same trick will work on firmware after 3.41.

No, I'm talking about an upgrading PSGroove, not the official Sony firmware. I was just thinking what happens when PSGroove gets updated.

well i just got mines working fine. I had a pre-order on the maximus. I just canceled it, i only ordered yesterday.

Iphone version will get updated to, just take a bit of time, later than the dev boards.

It will happen tho, Just probably take a bit longer dude

Like I said, PSGroove works fine, so what's the point of updating?

would seem kind of a pain to use your phone every time you want to play homebrew on your ps3 I would buy a board, I just ordered a teensy today it was $27 after shipping site says they are not gonna be shipping until next week though

Buy a board, as mentioned above, it's a pita to connect your iphone every time you want to boot your ps3 in dev mode.

Unless you're really scratching for money, $30 isn't alot in order to have a dedicated jailbreak device IMO.

Yeah, it is a pain, and the timing is crazy. I was just hoping a cfw solution was coming out soon. Will there one soon? If not, I'll buy a board because it really is kind of annoying.

Actually I would put off buying anything until the 3.42 bypass was resolved. Very soon every game will come with mandatory 3.42 update on it. Without a bypass the jailbreak is essentially useless.
