Installing PKG on 4.11

I know someone was working on getting homebrew to run on 4.11 and that person has gotten the "Install Package" option to show on 4.11. Was it ever released how he did that. I have a few retail PKGs I'd like to install on a 4.11 console. No big deal if I can't. Just wondering.

I believe getting the packages installed was the easy part. The hard part is getting them to run.

Yeah he never released his method. in fact getting them to run was the part that wasn't doable without the current keys or a further exploit.

I only need to install the packages as they are already retail. It's DLC that doesn't require activation.

Well, the bottom line is that you're going to have to go with the official route of getting the DLC on to your 4.11 PS3 at the present time.

Sony has me on this lousy 7-day lockout so I am not allowed to download anything. This is the 8th day and I still can't download anything.

Sony claims I activated my PS3 too many times, which is a complete lie as I have only ever activated my PS3 once.

I have 2 PS3's and 2 PSP's and each was activated only once.

A Sony Rep told me that the 7-day lockout is to protect the Intellectual Property of the companies. What a load of crap. How is preventing me from downloading my purchased content protecting the IP of the companies?

I can still play online, I just can't download anything except game updates.

What's worse is that there is no way to know how much of the lockout you have left and if you try to activate a console or download something, the lockout gets reset for another 7 days.
