Did someone manage to have the two Backup Manager installed at the same time?

BM2 aka 1.2 mess with some games
When you need to install BM 2 it ask if you want to overwrite the first.

And i read that if you uninstall one of those two it affect the Gamez folder. (by removing content and folder on internal) Means that we have to replace the BM without uninstalling... If somebody could confirm that too it will be great

I would like to know this also. Currently I am running BM 1.0 using PSFreedom IPhone port. Hopefully, I will get my PS3Key this week and if so I would like to give BM2 a try. Just hoping that I won't have to FTP all of my games back over. Does it give you an upgrade option, or do you need to uninstall 1.0 to use BM2?

It replaces the previously installed BM I believe. I've done it with the original BM and Azergaze's BM, went from orignal to Azergaze back to original. I didn't have to re-backup my games or anything.

maybe in time you can install 2 copies of backup manager and patch one of them, who knows

Who use the backup manager 2?
I'd like to know what is the right folder to upload a game via ftp and running without blueray in my old ps3.

Can you confirm that is the same as the old backup manager 1?

BM2 does exactly what BM1 does, if a game cant load you put the disc in and it will load just like BM1.

exactly, BM2 will ADD functionality over top of the pre-existing functionality. you will not lose anything by updating and removing the old version - just the ability to play a handful of games without a disc. the 'classic' loading method still works when a disc is inserted.

I wonder if there's a compatibility list ONLY for backup manager 2, I mean using no discs on the tray.

All the lists I found are for BM 1.0
