install backup manager

Can anyone tell me how to install the backup manager.....

you first need to jailbreak your ps3
so plug the dongle / phone / board into the usb and turn the power switch on and then press power and then quickly press eject
then in the xmb under games there is a new folder that will let you install pkg files
you need to put the pkg files on a usb drive in the root folder (not in any subfolders in the drive) and then you need to just press X on it and it will install depending on what one you have to install, for example the stealth eu backup manager doesn't install if you have the real mw2 eu installed on ps3

Thanx for the reply. but what do you mean with mw2? (sorry i'm newby)

he means that once you have loaded backup manager put a disc in the console and then play a game you have backed up. Ignore the stealth backup manager part as it is no different to normal backup manager after sony has patched the update workaround.

do you need a simple guide of how to install backup manager on an already jailbroken ps3 or how to jailbreak and then install backup manager

Edit: If you need a guide for any of them really im gonna tell you just to put time in and research like everyone else has instead of expecting people who have th answer to tell you

MW2 = Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (its a PS3 Game)

MW2 = CALL OF DUTY MODERNWARFARE 2 ...

what he meant to say is that if you have any save game,intall file,updates etc. related to that game on your ps3 ... the stealth backup manager wont work :rolleyes:

are you for real m8 what do you think he is doing by coming here, he is doing research and what is this forum bloody for if someone can't ask a simple question and get an answer, get of your high horse and help someone out, if ya can't then don't bother adding your 2 cent worth because no-one wants it :)
