I've always been interested in the idea of jailbreaking, yet as I search through these forums a ton of information starts to overwhelm me. This all seem's saturated with odd tech jargon and acronyms that it is impossible for me to make sense of anything on here.
I really want to use a jail broken ps3 and have no real how to start and from what it sounds like on these forums, I'm in a bad position because of myself currently running the 4.10 update. So if anybody could help that would be so appreciated.
Also please dont attack me and comment on how my thread is a dupe. Like I've explained I'm lost once you all start going into total jailbreak lingo and I really need a guide for the dummie's such as myself which I cant seem to find.

Plus, if it helps you understand my Noobiness I am not even sure what you can do with a jail broken ps3 other than emulation, which is what im really wanting to achieve.

At firmware 4.10 you are basically screwed. If you are good at soldering, then you might be able to do something.
