But I am just wondering. So I heard you can play PS1 backups on the newest multiman. thing is I never put a PS1 image on a cd. Is it as easy as using a program like image burn and say 4x speed?

Yes. Exactly.
You will need to familiarize yourself with multiman. Alternatively ONE is just the PSX stuff without multiman.
I tried a couple discs but couldn't get it to work. The PS3 would recognize the disc as a PSX image but wouldn't launch it correctly. It might have been because I was trying to use a couple obscure titles like Ehrgeiz (a fighting game with some final fantasy vii characters). I'm pretty sure you just use clonecd with the lowest speed your burner supports. It should be 4x, but my drive didn't support 4x so I had to use 8x. Maybe that's where the problem I had came in.
I have successfully burned hundreds literally, of ps1 and ps2 games with Alcohol 120% it has the perfect menu and the same for dvd decrypter. Both excellent programs. verbatim -R blank dvd's ps2 for sure. PS1 you should have no problems at all, Any speed, any normal c.d. brand
the game I want to burn is a really japanese game called pepsi man...will it work? lol
