I'm on 3.60... go for 3.61?

i've been waiting patiently for a jb. seems like theres not much going on in the scene for 3.60 users, except for math's teases . would it really make a difference if i update? (aside from psn access) or should i chill.

that depends bud, do you need to play online and or newer games? if thats the case and you have satisfied all your needs with pre 3.60 titles, then why not? is not like the scene will move forward anytime soon.

this is only something you can truly answer, what ever we say will honestly not have an impact on your decision i believe.

with that said, good luck, i personally will come mk9 dlc.

I have two PS3s. One 3.55 kmeaw, and the other 3.60 OFW.

I have downloaded OFW 3.61 (download, not installed!), and am wonding if I should wait for 3.60 CFW.

I can tell $ony I want to be refunded for my PS+, right? Why would I go back to them, when Xbox-Live offers MS-Points for using their network as a reward.

As a side note, I did get a Sony T-Shirt for my participation in their "failed" rewards program.

yea, i regret going to 3.60. i had no clue nobody would dare to release anything after the geohot situation, which is why i did. in fact, i updated before the lawsuit thinking this were gonna turn out to be like the consistent iphone jb scene.

ah well. this will be the last update i'll do for sure though.

I think I would update to 3.61. The way things are going I feel like we are not going see another cfw for long while. Or maybe not even again unless someone could think of a new way to jb, mod, etc.

I believe there will never be a 3.60 cfw now that 3.61 is out. Whats the use of making a 3.60 cfw? if the devs are going to make a cfw anytime in the future, they will probably make it for 3.61.

I too, just got started and got a used ps3 only to find it 3.6 but that's ok...just trying to start out and tinkle with it.....guess i got it just in time for all this mess that $ony got into...

Oh well, power to the scene and keep posting questions and articles...i am enjoying this hobby

Can't say I miss cfw after updating. All of the emulators I wanted on the ps3, I got on the wii and there wasn't much homebrew keeping me there anyway apart from showtime (only because I have a weak pc). So the way I see it, if you're already on 3.60 then you might as well finish and update to 3.61 while you're at it since cfw can't be installed on 3.60.
