I install eboot pkg`s for some games and then Im left with these clickable files on the xmb that do not work. Is there a way to delete them and still leave the game functional?

Triangle, delete?
my head hurts, so you want the game to work but you don't want a way to start the game
i think hoosier has a modded eboot on his xmb that he ran to install it to the actual game backup (i think) and the package didn't get removed (i think) and hoosier wants (i think) to get rid of the installed package file (i think) while keeping the modded eboot (i think) in the game directory (i think) and hoosier thought that those package files (i think) loaded the actual game with the modded eboot (i think)
i could honestly be totally wrong here, i had a hard time understanding (i think) the post
I play my games from multiman, but many of them required modified eboot pkg`s in order to play.........some of them make mock files on the xmb that when clicked do nothing but give you a black screen. I want to keep the beneficial parts of the eboot fix without having all the links on my xmb that go nowhere.
Triangle, delete? <echo> <echo>
Ok, I guess I am not explaining it well. The files are needed in order to make the games work so, to delete it doesnt work.........I have tried already and the game no longer functions once the xmb file is removed.
Its no big deal. If its only going to garner further sarcasm I will go elsewhere to post my questions.
Honestly, we're not being sarcastic. The way you're wording it is that you have a pkg on the xmb that does nothing and you want to remove it but it's the modded eboot for your game. Hence, you delete it with triangle then pick delete. If a splash screen doesn't even show up then something is wrong. We need more information. System model, firmware, game trying to load.
