Are you sure you haven't just stolen that picture from another website? considering its pointing to a 3.60m33 download - you know the same m33 that Dax released for PSP....

A bit dramatic are we? These type of members are riddled throughout every single online community. To say the website would die because of them is ridiculous. It would take way too many man hours to completely rid of every off-topic post/thread. Even if successfully done alongside creating Stickies, Bolded/Colored topics, forced thread views, there'd still be an influx of spammed posts because these people are programmed on stupid.
Believe me I've ran & moderated many community websites over the past 10 years to know better. The fact that other members give these post attention doesn't help the cause either. Free bumps are what keep the topics alive.

I see what you're saying, only made the post because it has got really bad. I've been wasting my life on forums for years and this place takes the cake. Never seen anything like it. It seems that the core visitor of this site is exactly the type of person you don't want posting on a forum. (not a reference to free speech, just would be nice to have a quality forum)
Obviously the recent developments have bought a tidal wave of new members so it will calm down but it just seems like one bad apple.
Anyways

Stealing a team name is pretty low imo. if you're going to play with versions, at least be original.

This was discovered over 2 years ago. You can't actually install it.

This is one of those examples and if it were only one it would be fine...
But it seems that every tom dick and harry is "trying" and "helping" by posting this rubbish - and that's what it is - RUBBISH.
So you changed a string in a txt file?
The difference between what you have done and anything of actual use like making yourself a cup of tea is like me scratching my arse and someone climbing mount everest with 1 leg.
The thing is, people can see that, yet you cannot. The people who are really "trying" are the people who can see this and don't want to clutter this place with more nonsense threads. Nothing will come of what you have done, except a few people like myself getting annoyed at you, and possibly a few people congratulating you for "trying" - These people won't actually have a clue either though and could just as easily done what you have done.
This will all end in everyone leaving PSX-Scene eventually unless Gary sorts this shit out and starts banning\deleting all these posts.
It's a real turnoff to the people who do have their head screwed on to just read post after post of...
1. Someone with a great "idea" that can't code.
2. Someone who can't code who has made a little change to something.
3. Someone congratulating either of the above.
4. Someone confirming and already confirmed way of doing something
5. Someone asking when XXX will work with XXX
6. Someone who hasn't read a thread and asks a question that has already been asked not more than 3-4 posts before theirs - that's a common problem on all forums but here, it's so bad it's insane.
If the above isn't done soon in a month or two goodbye PSX-Scene...because nobody wants to read that shit.
Surely we all need to start somewhere, no?
I do know that if everyone were worried about upsetting people like you, then nothing would ever get done, for fear of getting jumped on or humiliated by know-it-alls like you. He edited a text string...Big deal, who gives a monkeys? As soon as you knew it was BS you didn`t need to continue reading and ranting like that surely? Just go back to the main menus and find something else to read... Or heaven forbid, have a go at sorting yourself a CFW out...But hey, be careful not to offend yourself when your "proof-of-concept" goes wrong!
