sorry guys if this is slightly off topic but i just got a psp slim model PSP-2001 and i would like put cfw on it like my ps3. it currently has version 3.60 ofw on it. my main question is can i just update it with a memstick without a pandora battery?. sorta like the same with a ps3 . cant i put a cfw pup on the memstick in and update folder and update the psp to a cfw like that?

nope its not just CFW in PS3 .you need a way to install CFW like Pandora Battery or via ChickHEN .

nope it is just cfw. i didnt need pandora battery or chicken. just loaded files via memstick.

lol you do know i mean in PSP not the PS3 .

because the way you tell is not right if it was then why would they make Pandora Battery along with MMS or ChickHEN ?

get an PSP with any firmware and try to update it to CFW without any those above and see the results .
