    I have 2 files for jailbreaking on for 4.31 and one for 4.30 4.30 on is Rogero and 4.31 is SGK so can someone help?

    you need 3.55 or lower to 'jailbreak' install firmware, or whatever you want to call it.

    so find someone who can downgrade your system (requires soldering)

    need more info before telling him he has to downgrade (although from his lack of knowledge he's probably going to have to downgrade)

    plz tell us what firmware you currently have. ex: 3.55, 3.56, 4.30, etc
    what is the model of ps3 you have. ex: CHECH25XX

    I am on 4. 31 and my model is the newest version I cant find the page so thats all I know

    ok, so if you're on 4.31 official firmware you will HAVE to downgrade to 3.55 and there is no way around it.

    go to here > SKU Models - PS3 Development Wiki and check your playstations model number and manufacture date to see if it is possible to even downgrade your system.
