I'm fairly sure that BOTH PS3s need to be at the same Firmware level (i.e. 4.46), to do so simple enough to understand really.
When you copy your stuff over using the Tools on the PS3 to do so, it'll wipe the old Data off the OFW PS3, and the Data having been transferred off the CFW Drives. The only known way to do what your asking is to essentially have both PS3s in CFW Mode, and just FTP everything across. Something that just can't be done in OFW Firmware I'm afraid.
Besides about the only thing you could Transfer, besides Games Saves (I don't even Know if you can copy the Protected Ones!). are the PSP Minis / Remastered Games. As those don't require you to have (or use), ReactPSN on your OFW.
If your asking about Cheats exploits those might work but, unless you can get R/W access to the HDD (via FTP or other means...), you can't just selectively drag & Drop Files.

Brainstorming this and I don't know if the PS3 locks its HDD to the single PS3 or not. You might try coping whatever you want to a /tmp folder on your PC, then switch the HDD in your CFW PS3 and FTP those Files back. Again for it to work both PS3 would need to be level @4.46! But, really that's all I have...
Worst case scenario you may have to reinstall your CFW? onto your OFW HDD, first, then again with OFW again after you set it back in your OFW PS3. Perhaps if your very VERY picky about using a certain Firmware revision to run some really exotic code. This will be the simplest way to do it. Assuming that you actually have Two PS3 that is.
It probably should go without saying that this "Idea" is less then ideal and should only be used sparingly. As updating the OS on the HDD also flashes the PS3 ROM (NAND/NOR) Chip too! again duh... But for a One off it should be ok... I guess...
