I go by a general guideline. Knowledge and information should always be freely shared. What the person does with that information is up to them. When you come straight out and say you need help pirating software between consoles then I can't help you and suggest that others don't either. Think about what you put out there that you are doing before posting. Your ip address is easily traced. There is no true anonymity on the internet just because we use screen names
Thanks anyway I'd just ask a different website this website is kinda too uptight I just asked a general question when most people (backup) their games. I be on here more but at the same time some times it can be hypercritical but I respect the rules I guess all future questions I will ask somewhere else besides not here.
I missed the action
Anyways, I got not problems helping ANYONE. The only reason I am here is because of a pirate.
I actually agree with Goku here, that as long as our rules are obeyed, people should not feel out of place because they are labeled as a pirate. We do not know their circumstances, it could be legal for them for all we know.
The point is, this really needs to be a place of peace, and working together for a future goal. A site dedicated to helping all in their efforts to better understand their consoles.
This is the internet, where the admins and moderators ultimately govern the communities. WE DOT NOT PROMOTE PIRACY. But the people are free to make their own decisions (while following the rules).
@BahumatLord You sig leads me to believe you may be a pirate, but I would NEVER suggest that you do not own those games (or renting them).
@Goku1992 What was your question? I would like to answer it for you if I could.

@tthousand - I never said I wasn't one. I can't shut that damn parrot up half the time. It probably came out wrong but it was a reminder that he might not want to put out there what he's doing to protect himself. His question was about transferring ReActPSN games to a new console when he bought one. He was wanting to buy a console for online play I think. Honestly didn't think he'd take it that way. On "that other forum" is information about leet psn content using data transfer but it's experimental. It's possible it would work for ReActPSN stuff too, but it would have to be a separate user account because ReACTPSN corrupts your user account and it can't go on PSN anymore.
Edit: I didn't suggest that he was bootlegging or assume it. He said specifically that he wanted to transfer pirated PSN content
Hey tthousand actually BathumatLord is right at the time I did word it wrong but anyways thats the past.
My question was basically I am on True Blue CFW 3.55 and I am going to be buying a another ps3 in the future I know that eventually true blue will be found out and some of the games they cant patch already I miss going online with my friends playing MW3 and etc..etc.. which leads to me that sometimes a cfw ps3 isnt that cracked up to be but anyways the question
I have PSN Content currently on my CFW ps3 (PS1 games PSN Games) Things like that I read up an article saying that I could make a backup of my PS3 on my cfw ps3 and restore them on the newer ps3 but that was dealing with 4.00 OFW but we are on 4.11 so I was wondering would the same thing apply but I was wondering can I be banned for the (PSN Content if you know what I mean)
Further more I was wondering all of the save files can I migrate them over to my newer ps3 games such as GT5 (since that's another game you need to be online to play for the seasonal events) can I sign in my older PSN account. Even though I bought a true blue dongle I know that eventually
A. The clones will be hacked and the secret will get out
B. Sony will finally sue tb
C. True blue cant crack all of the games in the future
So I rather buy a ps3 slim and honestly games like Killzone 3, BF 3, and MW3 are meant for the online
EDIT BahumatLord I never used ReACTPSN I used 3.55 fixes honesty I dont have my ps3 internet on I think its wayy too risky they have PSN content that dont require ReACTPSN now.
Well, if you have friends on PSN, I could see wanting to get another PS3 for that; or just get a flasher, and have a dual boot system. Personally, all my friends are one XBL.
But if you are wanting to transfer items to your PS3 that Sony might even slightly consider pirated... then yes, there is a good chance you could get banned. Why not, Sony records every little detail about your system every time you log in, and they are probably watching ever since they got hacked. But, perhaps nothing happens, perhaps they decide to make an example of you like geohot... you have to ask yourself what is it worth to you.
As for the save file question, I am not sure, but there might be a way out there around this.
@BahumtLord Meant nothing by it buddy, I just missed out on the story and was lost ...

it's risky using anything that you didn't buy on PSN/SEN. Back when we had PSN on custom consoles we had to use stealth programs like PSNinja to prevent getting banned. Even those patched games would be risky because of your trophy data and your purchase history not matching up
Edit: @tthousand - I know you didn't. I was trying to lighten the mood
Besides, if you sign Sony's TOS, you are probably giving them a right to sue the pants of your backside if they even suspect foul play... not that they would, but they have it on record that you agreed with it.
