I jailbroke my PS3 once, but how do I delete the games? –
About 6 months ago, I got my PS3 jailbroken and had games transferred from the store I had it jailbroken at.
However, since I was having troubles downloading games, eventually I played from an original cd, and had it updated completely removing the jailbreak of course I am aware...
But... I totally forgot to delete the games. Is there a way to do this without Restoring the PS3 to default settings or reformatting the system storage?
I'm sorry if this question is a repeat, I know there's the search bar, however I'm not sure which keywords should I search for this problem is not common. OTL.
Thank you in advance for the help! And for reading as well!
If you're on official firmware, there's no way to delete the games unless you do a format.
If you had your console key, then there may be a way of decrypting the hard drive(http://psx-scene.com/forums/content/...tion-poc-2511/) and using a PC to delete them, but it's a long shot.
I am Official firmware, then there's no choice but to reformat. How ever I dont have a hard drive large enough to backup everything. Is there anyway to bypass the copyright lock for some games? Or Do I really have to lose my data?
Thank you so much!
