I helped my friend jailbreak his PS3 (Question)

I jailbroke my buddy's PS3 using my Droid and PSFreedom. However, he doesn't have a Droid or any of the devices that can run any PSFreedom ports.

My question is, can he purchase PS3Key and be all set? Wouldn't that basically be a replacement for my Droid, using it to boot the console?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Yes he can buy one and use it as a replacement. They all nearly work the same way.

He can use anything. The console is only "jailbroken" for that one time you use it. You don't have to keep using the same device.
