i have a question about how to contact people that make jailbreak and cfw ???

I believe there is a sticky about what you would call "hacking" the ps3. It details making .pkgs and stuff like that. Ima go look for it

see why i want to learn this or contact people who make this because there been alot of posts about 3.66 or 3.70 firmware i want to see if i can make a custom firmware for past 3.55 cfw . but i really want to learn how to do this kind of stuff .

If they haven't already done it, you won't be able to.

Ok, but i promise you, you will never manage to do it. If you're ok with that, then your best bet would be to go to your local college and sign up for some computer science classes.

If you want to talk to devs, pay attention to who they are, what they do, and where they are, so you can contact them. Also, why not talk ask everyone. I am sure other people who are not devs can still give you plenty of good information.

i fix computers for a living . i am going back to college going towards my masters degree in computers

Your experience fixing computers won't help you at all with this.

Dude making a cfw is really hard to do. If you cant even attempt making an emulator how on earth are you going to make a cfw? I'm currently studying Computer Engineering and I have to tell you that stuff is VERY hard! Fixing a computer is NOTHING like programming. CFW deals with alot of programming,debugging,beta testing, manipulating the firmware into making it yours running off the keys. Id say don't even bother and leave it up to the pros
