i have a ps jailbreak 2 & want to put Hermes 3.55SPOOF

hi mate, thanks for replying in the thread about the jailbreak 2 hermes 4 and i did what you said and it upgraded the usb but what should i do after i put the hex file into the usb ( i mean how to instal it to the ps3 so i can play games is there any software or anything)? sorry to disturb you

i have psjailbreak2 and this is what u need to do.

first connect psjailbreak2 to pc then open PSjailbreak2Upgrader

after that u should see GREEN letters that say connected inside PSjailbreak2Upgrader

now download hermes 3.55 spoof and extract files to your desktop


then inside PSjailbreak2Upgrader select IMPORT PAYLOAD then find hex that u extracted double click and then just press start button.then u should see upgradeing at the end u should see upgrade successfully.

edit:
for games best payload is hermes V4b,since there is nothing new in new payloads that was released after v4b

just put usb in ps3 then if u have fat ps3 u need to switch off then on or if u have slim just unplug the cable and plug again then quickly press power then enject button

if u need more info just google how to or go to youtube and search there

thanks for your info mate but after i put the usb in the ps3 and do this step will the hermes 4vb install automatically or do i need to do something to install the hex file?

You don't do anything on the PS3.

You load the Hermes payload to the jailbreak device. That's it.

that is correct

if u have successfully jailbreaked your ps3 your usb should go from red to green then u will see under game 2 new folder install package files and ps3 app home/PS3 Games

and that is all,but u will need to do this steps all time when u turn off your console

Did you download the 3.55 spoof from jailbreak2 website or somewhere else. I even tried to erase the dongle with the older program. then loaded the spoof again. Still doesn't show the 3.55 spoof.

I know its not needed, just bugging me that mine doesn't show the spoof.

I have downloaded again and flashed with 3.55 spoof again (yes from psjailbreak2 website not jailbreak2) just for u and all works fine

system shows version 3.55

im useing latest PS jailbreak2 upgrader V3.0 with windows xp sp3
