I have slim ps3.. Just learned about ps jailbreak. Upgraded to firmware 3.6 without knowledge of this jailbreak shit. I want to order eclips3 or amazebreak form mod-chip.com, my understanding of this from reading the discussions is that theres no method yet for firmware 3.6, and there might not be. sooooo... what do I do...

A. hang myself
B. find a way to downgrade to older firmware like 3.41
C. return my ps3 and buy another one with older firmware

C is your only choice. as B is not an option. but I guess A is your own personal preference

as a last resort is there any way to format or have the ps3 start from scratch.. reset or format it somehow to use an older firmware????

thats the only way to do it, keep your 3.60 ps3 if you plan on going on psn because you cant on cfw.
