Ok so i been gone for a couple of years. I havent even turned on my ps3 in a few months. I have my phat and its on 3.41 cfw Kneau. What do i have to do to get it updated on new cfw since i been gone a while im confussed by all the new tools and stuff. Also with the new update is online available now??

Well the first thing you want to do is a LOT of reading. I would like to be the first to warn you that if you don't have a hardware flasher then you should NOT install the new cfw yet. Wait until it has been fully tested. For now kmeaw3.55 is the most stable so just stay where you are and keep reading. PSN access is available but you don't need the new cfw to use it. I feel your pain too, I understand that RL doesn't always allow for our obsessions. I was away from the scene for a couple months and the amount of reading I had to do when I got back was insane! I'm still missing bits and pieces of things from then that I pick up here and there just reading other stories, and I'm like 'wow, I didn't know that happened'. So then I have to go read up on that too. In fact it seems that most of what it means to be a part of this scene is just reading! The thing about it is though that you don't have to rely on someone else to do what you would like to have done to your ps3. It's a decent trade off. I was getting pretty far behind because RL doesn't allow for me to be near a computer all the time. I just kept falling farther behind up until I got a smartphone several months ago. Since then I am able to read about the scene on the go and basically where ever I am that I have a few minutes to read something. Like sitting on the pot, or when I am setting my alarm at night laying in bed about to go to sleep, or riding as a passenger in a vehicle, sitting in waiting rooms etc. Every little bit helps, if you don't know what's going on on a daily basis it is easy to get lost. There have been weeks and weeks here that have come and gone with barely any notable news but things have really been blowing up lately. Anytime I find that there is no new news for to catch up on but I have time to kill I just go to the forums and read up on things there. This way I have found out things I didn't know about other systems I enjoy like ps2 and psp, and sometimes I am able to answer questions for people too!
