HTC HERO help please

Ok so i have a htc hero, i've flashed it with god knows how many images.

MY question is

Whats the best flash image for the htc?

Which payload should i use, and how do i do this?

Which back up manager is best?

I've got all my pre 3.42 games working no problem but im having serious issues with dj hero 2. which is the only game i have tryed after 3.41

any tips or guides would be great. many thanks for looking and any help i recieve.

ill have a try, which is the best back up loader to use?

Its all about personal preference, im still using the original Backup Manager.

does the orginal backup manager one allow you to use 3.42 games and above?

i've already got that image installed, and it allows me to use custom payloads. ive tryed 3 different payloads and i still cant get dj hero 2 to work.

Its really starting to annoy me now.

Ive updated the game, and tyred without updating and it keeps hanging on the loading screen, it shows a breif thing about activision then just hangs
