How to use eboot.bin

Ive got the eboot.bin for the mass effect 2 game ps3 question is where do i place it or how do i use it to patch the game?


Edit: guys ive managed to make mass effect 2 work without the eboot dont know how but on 3rd atempt worked like a charm!
