How to unlock DLC/PSN games?

Hey I have a load of PSN games that I BROUGHT on my HDD, but cannot play because I originally brought it on a different console. When I try to play them on my current JB console, it tell me I need to connect to PSN to verify my account etc. etc., but obviously I cannot, as it is jailbroken. I do remember reading about a tool that does this on psgrooves news feed a while ago, but can't remember fully.

I notice that this tool backups up xreg files. Unfortunately I have sold the console that I have originally downloaded the DLC on to a friend, whom has upgraded it to the latest OS and it is no longer JB. So I cannotinstall this pkg file to recover the xreg files. Is there any way to do this without the original console or access to PSN?

EDIT: Also in that download you linked, is the geohot one only for PS3s with the Geohot CFW and the other normal one for all the others?

I dont know but try to go to your friends house with your new PS3 and connect with network cable the two console and make a complete backup from the old PS3 to the new PS3, first you have to be spoffed the jailbreak PS3 to 3.66. Good Luck !

Thanks. I know about the whole spoofing thing. Didn't know you could back up a PS3 with another PS3 though. Would I just look into the backup and find the xreg files? I couldn't exactly install it over my JB consle without updating/losing the JB feature. Could I?

Plus if you know of any tools to simply override the checks that would be even better. I noticed that in the debug settings there were options related to NPDRM, which I seem to remember having something to do with PSN games copyright restrictions?

EDIT: When I try to back up/restore the xreg files with x reg plus it says backup etc. failed. I have tries both ge and normal versions with no luck :/, Maybe I don't have a xregistry.sys file, since it hasn't actually been connected to PSN or downloaded anything?

In the process of backups files from one PS3 to another the system only backup : data files, saves data, photos, dlc content, etc not system files so in theory the jailbreak and version in the jailbreak PS3 not be affected in the process for that reason you can set the ps3 jailbreak with spoff 3.66 to complete the process and the PS3 let you start the backup prosses.For the other question about NPDRM in debug setting I dont know I never use this option in my system with Rebug.

wow this is awesome if it works, i have DLC i purchased on my 3.66 console that i would love to bring to my hacked console. Let me know if you were able to sucessfully transfer the data cawthorne

wait.. so could i make a backup of my 3.66 ps3 with bunch of psn games. then buy a 3.55 ps3, then jailbreak/spoof it to 3.66 then restore the backup i made on the ofw ps3 3.66. Then my 3.55/3.66 spoofed ps3 would have all my psn games from my old ps3? if so i would order a 3.55 ps3 asap then sell my other ps3 after.

Yes you could carry all of your game across, but you can't go on PSN (online) with a jailbroken PS3. If you're ok with that then go ahead. BTW even if we do ever get PSN back it won't be for very long for sure.
