    Ive been debating for about a month now, and after a weekend of black ops online, i want to switch to ofw, so im assuming i have to just format my ps3 and update, or do i have to do anything special, i have slim ps3 with kmeaw

    You can just update, and forget it. If you're really that paranoid (no one has ever been banned from psn for cfw, let alone for having used it in the past), then reformatting the hdd will remove any trace of it.

    i dont know if "just update" is good advice.

    U would be smart to install 3.55 OFW first through recovery menu and from that u update, i hope u dont brick ur shit

    3.55 ofw then update i have 2 ps3 and my one is now on ofw 3.66
