How to partition and format newly bought ext. HDD
How to partition and format newly bought ext. HDD –

I just purchased an Iomega 1TB 3.5" ext. HDD. The filesystem is pre-formatted with NTFS. I'm using WinXP. Is there a tutorial on how I can accomplish the following:
- split the Iomega into 2 partitions
- format one of the partitions to FAT32 system
- make the FAT32 partition the primary drive that the PS3 looks for (is this step necessary?)
I don't have any tools/utilities and not sure which ones I should download off of the internet.

SWISSKNIFE is popular. For $10, PREMIUM offers you use of hard drives up to 2tb. You can download a trial, and see what they have to offer.
SWISSKNIFE v3.22- Windows 95 to Windows XP: SwissKnife V3.22
SWISSKNIFE Premium- Windows XP to Windows 7: SwissKnife Premium
FORMATS: FAT16. FAT32. NTFS. EXT2.
