You can try going here and getting the MinVerCheck PUP - Talk:Playstation Update Package (PUP) - PS3 Development Wiki

This should tell you which is the lowest FW you can install on your PS3.

Greetings! I couldn't make a thread for some reason...so posting here!

I just recieved a Fat PS3 on 3.15 Backwards compatible, broken Blueray drive and has a GPU overheating issue. I plan to get the GPU fixed. The majority of my games are on PSN Plus, is it currently possible to keep PSN plus and be jailbroken?

With all the recent progress in the scene, that might be possible. Although I am not sure, because I have not been following all the updates too closely.

Hello, I have not played my PS3 since the whole "Dongle takeover. I was away from the scene for a bit so the CEX and DEX terms are new to me... I'm on Kmew 3.55 and I am using Multiman 02.09.00 if I update to 04.09.00 can I still use newer games with the correct Eboots/patches? Or do I have to do something to my PS3 first?
