In the bottom right hand of the post, above REPLY and MULTI-QUOTE, there should be buttons LIKE and SHARE. I think LIKE is the button you are asking about.

Hi everyone. I am very new to PS3 jailbreaking. I would like to know where I can find a dongle and what it is. I would also like to know what a power cycler is and where to find it. If I do not need any of these things please let me know. I also would like to know if someone can treat me like I am 5 and walk me through the steps of getting my sons PS3 working with the games that I have burned from the originals. I really appreciate all of the work that you all do and thank you in advance for your time and effort. I hope that I am not asking for to much.

Put with the dongle and power cycle jailbreaking; in with the new CFW, which is like an OFW but custom. If you don't know what OFW is, that is an official firmware release from Sony.

Basically, you will need a PS3 on 3.55 OFW in order to use CFW. Once you get that set-up, there are detailed guides to help you figure out all of the rest.

Question can I still use this above method with OFW 4.40???? or only with OFW 4.31?

What i mend to say i downgrade with the file rogero 430-205 with a e3 while the ps3 was on 4.31 now a upgrade from sony came and the consoles i have they are now version 4.40 can i still downgrade with e3 with the same files even though it is version 4.40?

From my understanding of the latest OFW, it can still be downgraded. I am not sure if there are new files, as I am not into downgrading myself. I have not had a reason to do it yet.

important quick question im new to this cite looking for mods and jailbreaks any whore i have a 4.40 PS3 is its possible to jailbreak? ive heard it isn't in the past but looking at updated cites for example updated in march 2013 it says you can and im getting tired of spending a total of 3weeks trying to jail brake this PS3. downloading useless stuff, spam, virus, its damaging my labtop and i need your help. i don't mean to sound desperate but i really want to jailbreak so i can mod gta 4 im on the verge of going ballistic. PLEAS HELP ME.
