How to install a param.sfo file into PS3??

Hi guys, I'm following a tutorial on these steps on how to get Split Second Velocity to work on 3.41 update for PS3. Link found here:

But there is a step where it asks you to exchange the following PARAM.SFO with the one from /dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30301

The question is... how on earth do I do that? How do I place a new PARAM.SFO file into the PS3 HDD??

Ftp or the file manager built into Multiman.
