How to install a kmeaw cfw in downgraded 3.55 ps3 to 3.41? –
I wanted to install kmeaw firmware from downgraded 3.41 ofw, but I can't from xmb and recovery mode. When I installing kmeaw's firmware from xmb, after repacking this, shows me an error. In recovery mode, ps3 request me a 3.56 or newer firmware. What am I must do, to install a kmeaw firmware and it is possible?

Once you have completed the above process you will be on a modified 3.41 that has it's vsh changed to 3.56 (was needed in order to downgrade from 3.55). If you plan to stay on 3.41 you can stay on this firmware. If you ever plan on upgrading to a higher firmware you will need to go through the downgrade process again, but this time have a OFW on your thumbdrive that is less then 3.41 (Ex 3.40, 3.20, 3.15) but higher then the version that came on your console. You can use the same files from this post, but your PS3UPDAT.PUP must follow the rules above.
I believe you could also use the original modified 3.41 from the first downgrade package

hey, if you previously downgraded from 3.55 to the modified 3.41 firmware, and now it says on the recoverymenu to enter 3.56 firmware or later, and every time you try and install another firmware it gives you an error. I was having the same problem and discovered the only way to upgrade to 3.55 kmeaw cfw is to downgrade the ps3 further from the modified 3.41 to lets say 3.15 or 2.30, then upgrade to kmeaw 3.55 cfw, I hope this helped.
