Many people transfer there games over wireless with ftp, this takes very long, or maybe you have just ran out of space on your ps3 but have a big harddrive lying around.
You might already know the ps3 only recognizes harddrives in FAT or FAT32 formats, but when you have harddrives sizing too 40GB - 2TB they are in a format which the ps3 cannot recognize.
theres is a simple and quick solution, all you have to do is download a software called swissknife, it can format harddrives up to 2TB in a FAT32 format, the software does cost but was worth it because i have used this on a number off external harddrives.
You can get the software here! DOWNLOAD
try searching there maybe a free alternative for this software
