How to Get to CFW 3.72 spoof

Im new to this stuff im used to psp cfws n whateva
So i have like 3 ps3s one old fat one with old firmware i want to get cfw on it do i need to downgrade then get old cfw to go to new cfw i got like 3.56 ofw
what would be the steps?
i dont understand.....how do i do this...

If your system came with firmware 3.56 then you are stuck there. Otherwise you can downgrade with an E3 flasher or Progskeet.

What firmware is your fat on?

is the old phat nand or nor @ current for solder-less downgrade you need Progskeet for nand and E3 for nor

its one from when they first came out i upgraded it to 3.55 or 3.56 before i bought a new one is e3 flasher complicated?
