How to Fix a Bricked Ps3 fw 2.4 ???

Hi, i buy the e3 card to fix this ps3. The ps3 was in fw 2.36 so i upgrade to 2.4 in the time but there something wrong happen and the system stop in eternal 40% of updating. After a lot of tries, i give up and formated the hd in other ps3 that was working, the result was: the system turn on (green light) stay +/- 30 secs then go off (red light). Its only black screen, not showing anything anymore.

How to fix this ps3 and get in service mode in blind mode??? Wat file do i will need to use to make this process???

any help will be very aprecciate!

Did you try PS3 Safe Mode (erroneously called Recovery Menu)?

"Safe mode" only exist after 2.41 fw

How i use a Lv2diag.self FILE 1 and Lv2diag.self FILE 2 on a fw 2.4???

you need first to put the Lv2diag.self FILE 1 to usb drive to enter the service and after that you need remove the Lv2diag.self FILE 1 from usb drive and put the Lv2diag.self FILE 2 to get out of service mode

so, i need to go to service mode (blind) then put the Lv2diag.self FILE 1 in usb, after that i use the fw and in the final use Lv2diag.self FILE 2???

UPDATE: I put the ps3 in service mode (blind) after the ps3 go off, i remove the e3 card and put fat32 usb stick with Lv2diag.self FILE 1 and fw 2.36

Now the ps3 is blinking green about 10 min, i didnt move anything waiting to go off.

How i procede????

UPDATE 2: After give up wait for the green flashing light stop and ps3 go standy by, i resolve to take out the usb sticky and make shut down the ps3, for my surpise after i star the ps3 again, the ps3 appears in the television and i finally get able to make the blindo service mode. I turn off again, formated the usb stick and insert the with Lv2diag.self FILE 1 (alone), the ps3 go standy by alone, Done the ps3 was in fw 2.36 again.

After do the most hard and resolve to update to fw 3.41, the ps3 get a erro in updating the fw 3.41 in 66-67%.

I know that this ps3 get a bad bd, maybe this is causing this problem. Tomorrow i ll try fix the bd to continue the update.
