How to downgrade from wutangrza to official 3.55 firmware?

I downloaded the official firmware from sony but when i try downgrading from wutangrza to official 3.55 it would give me file is corrupted tried both via xmb and recovery system update option. Running slim ps3 120gb. Reason i want to downgrade from cfw is because i want to start fresh with kmeaw formware and bm?

Any help would be appreciated.

I already searched google "the data is corrupt" is what appears i downloaded 3.55 twice from sony uk site and both had same result, im using a cfw at the moment and want to go back to ofw so that a fresh install could be performed?

If you're on 3.55 CFW (Wutangrza) you just need to download the 3.55 OFW from here: Ps3OsRels - EurAsiaWiki and then put it on your thumb drive in x:\PS3\UPDATE. Boot into recovery mode and install. That should be it. If you keep on getting data corrupted, check the md5 before install too.

Oh 1 more thing mod, i had before official 3.55 then upgraded to wutangrza and then geojb, installed lv1dump and lv2disabler. Then used multimand and omg omg lv2.pkg copied mw2 to hdd and launched via non direct boot via xmb comes up on disc as mw2 even though black ops is in the tray but when i launch only black screenn appears and nothing else?

Just Finished installing fresh 3.55 and then installed kmeaw 3.55 and lv2 patcher, tried smackdown 08 and works fine with multiman 7.8 however mw2 just gives me black screen any idea?

Anything that blackscreened on 3.41 JB will probably blackscreen on 3.55 JB.
