Amazing what a simple search can find: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f6/ps3ji...ony-psp-80067/ (PS3Jig - PS3 Factory/Service Mode "Jig" Dongle for Sony PSP)
Yup i saw that..i thought there was a easier way..I just went out and bought a psp so this is my first time ever holding one in my hand..Now i have to figure out how to install homebrew on my psp..What a pain in the ass this all is..Seems like there is no step by step ins..It tells you a few steps then tells you to go find out how to install homebrew on psp then i have to go back to that and finish off the process..If you as me that is no tutorial..Its a mess of direction.
I dont care about jb my ps3..I just want the xp of entering service mode for fun..Im on 3.56 and know i will not be able to get out..Im doing it for fun..I like to do these things so i know first hand what will happen..I already own a ps3 with 3.60 on it as well as a jb with 3.55..I do not own one stuck in service mode but would like to..Thanks for you time buddy..
Ah i see... and didn't mean to sound like a prick like that
Just meant that installing 5.50 GEN-D3 on my PSP was 'fun' in its own right, before i could afford my first PS3 to learn from.
Haven't done it in awhile, but IIRC, a pandora's battery might be needed to install cfw on psp's... not outrageously expensive, but a hassle nonetheless.
Again, no offense b4.

u guys know that since people can sign stuff now most homebrew and games have beened signed.... no need for a cfw, and im pretty sure people evne make cfw signed so u can just install from xmb of psp
