How do i completely entirely remove homebrew?

Im on 3.55 cfw and i dont feel like getting banned and all i do is use psn so... help lol

If you want to go "clean" rip the drive out of the PS3 (brute force!) and format it on your PC, whatever filesystem you want. Throw it (real hard) back in the PS3 and format away.. Unless you wrote something to flash, your going to be back to stock.

Make sure to sync your trophies if you did any progress..

the only things i used were logjam, awesome file manager(patch for mw2), gameboy advance emulator and a sega genesis emulator... so if i just removed them all, then updated to 3.55.. then updated to 3.56 i'd be perfectly fine?

I would say format the drive in a PC first.. To be safe everything is removed.. After uninstall there is crap left behind with some uninstalls, and your logs won't be up to snuff..

So I figure format is the winner..

I really don't think Sony is going to ban anyone, they have no reason to. 3.56 has solved all their problems as they can now guarantee that anyone on PSN is using OFW (at least once 3.55 no longer as the ability to sign on).
